Every morning at La Petite, our bakers begin before dawn. From sourdough loaves to layered mille-feuille, each creation is made with the finest ingredients — and a quiet devotion to craft.
Three layers of dark chocolate sponge, Belgian ganache, and a mirror glaze finish.
72-hour laminated dough, baked to a honeyed golden finish. Available plain or almond-filled.
Our most loved creation — intensely chocolatey, fudgy centre, shatter-top crust.
48-hour cold-fermented, open crumb, naturally leavened. Baked fresh every morning.
La Petite was founded on a single, stubborn conviction: that food made the right way — slowly, carefully, with the best ingredients — is always worth the effort.
We don't use preservatives. We don't cut fermentation times. We don't substitute real butter for something cheaper. What we offer is honest baking — the kind that reminds you what something is supposed to taste like.
Nothing is baked in advance. Every item on our menu is made the morning of.
French butter, single-origin chocolate, stone-ground flour. The best, always.
Our products have a short shelf life by design — because they're real food.
Almost every item can be made eggless without compromise on taste.
Crafted for the season, available for a limited time.
Espresso-soaked ladyfinger sponge, mascarpone cream, dusted cocoa. A timeless Italian classic.
Buttery shortcrust, vanilla custard cream, fresh Alphonso slices. A summer celebration.
Curated selection of our signature brownies, cookies, truffles, and a mini loaf. Gift-wrapped with a handwritten card.
Whether it's a wedding, a milestone birthday, or an intimate anniversary — we design and bake cakes that are as individual as the occasion.
Share your inspiration — photos, themes, colour palettes — and our pastry chef will bring it to life.
All custom cake orders include a complimentary tasting appointment at our bakery.
We accommodate eggless, nut-free, and gluten-free requirements without compromising on flavour.
For elaborate tiered cakes, we recommend 5–7 days. Contact us to discuss.
"The chocolate fudge cake from La Petite was the centrepiece of my daughter's birthday and genuinely the best cake I've ever tasted. The ganache is extraordinary. We've been regulars ever since."
"Ordered the sourdough loaf on a whim. I don't think I can buy supermarket bread again. The crust crackles, the crumb is open, and it stays fresh for days. Absurdly good."
"We asked for a four-tier wedding cake with pressed flowers and gold detailing. What they delivered was beyond our expectations — visually stunning, and even better to eat."

La Petite Boulangerie was founded by Chef Nandita Sharma in a small rented kitchen in South Delhi. Eighteen years later, the commitment to honest, unhurried baking is exactly the same.
Every recipe in our bakery has been tested, adjusted, and tested again until it is exactly right. We don't believe in good enough.
We source the finest flour, butter, eggs, and chocolate. We refuse to use artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives. Our ingredient list is short by design.
Great bread takes time. Great croissants take three days of laminating. We do not rush. Every fermentation, rest period, and baking window is respected.
If an item doesn't meet our standard on a given day, it doesn't go on the shelf. We have disappointed customers before by running out — we won't disappoint them with something substandard.
We source locally wherever possible, support small dairy farms, and reinvest in the communities where our stores operate.
We believe exceptional food should be accessible. Our pricing is designed to reflect true cost without being exclusionary — a great croissant shouldn't be a luxury.
Our kitchen is a learning environment. We send our bakers to train in France and Japan, and we bring those lessons back to every product we make.
Trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and with a decade working in patisseries across France, Switzerland, and Japan, Nandita returned to India in 2006 with one goal: to bring the craft of European baking to Indian kitchens, adapted for Indian palates.
"Every morning when I walk into the kitchen and I smell the bread proofing and the croissants going in, I remember why I started. That smell is the whole reason."
— Chef Nandita Sharma, FounderToday, Nandita leads a team of 18 bakers, each trained in-house to the same standard. She personally tastes every new recipe before it joins the menu.
